Welcome, I'm Amy-Rose (she/her).
I am an Indigenous, cis-gendered, queer therapist who grew up in poverty with a single mother, in an environment where resilience was necessary and support was not always readily available. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of how systemic and personal challenges can shape the way we see ourselves, our bodies, and our relationships with others.
From a young age, I learned the importance of self-awareness and connection as tools for growth and wellbeing. Movement—particularly running—became a way for me to regulate stress, stay grounded, and create moments of clarity. Over time, this appreciation for physical and mental health deepened into a respect for how closely our emotional wellbeing is tied to our bodies, environments, and relationships.
These experiences ultimately led me into the work of counselling. I believe healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported in ways that honor both their inner world and lived reality. In my work, I aim to create a space that is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in respect—where self-awareness can grow and meaningful connection can take root.

Hi, I'm Brooke (she/her).
I am a white, cis-gendered, heterosexual, middle class, straight-bodied woman, who lives with ADHD and anxiety, My path into counselling is deeply rooted in lived experience. Growing up, I faced significant adversity, including childhood maltreatment, navigating life with a learning disability, and exposure to domestic violence. These experiences shaped my understanding of how trauma can impact self-worth, relationships, and the nervous system—often in ways that aren’t immediately visible to others.
Rather than defining me, these experiences inspired a strong commitment to healing, self-compassion, and meaningful change. They allow me to meet clients with genuine empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. I believe healing happens in safe, collaborative spaces where clients feel seen, believed, and empowered at their own pace.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I am passionate about supporting individuals as they reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and regulated.
