Frequently Asked Questions

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and explore your reasons for seeking therapy. We’ll go over confidentiality, your goals, history, and current concerns. This helps us find a good working way forward together. You’re welcome to ask any questions about the process or share what feels most helpful for you.


Most clients begin with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, each lasting 50 minutes. The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, the complexity of your issues, and how often you want to meet. We’ll check in regularly to reassess your needs and chart progress.


We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations so that time can be offered to others. Same-day cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee of 50%.


That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have anything figured out. Sometimes therapy begins by sitting with uncertainty or simply exploring what’s been on your mind recently.


Therapy works best when you feel safe and comfortable. If at any point it doesn’t feel like the right match, you’re always welcome to share that. I’ll support you in finding someone who better meets your needs—your care comes first.
